Eight years ago today, I married my best friend.
We met while I was "dating" a good friend of his. Within a month of DJ and I dating, I knew that he was the man that I'd spend the rest of my life with. Two months later, we were buying engagement rings and wedding bands, and on December 23, 2004 he asked me to be his wife.
We were married December 17, 2008.
7 weeks after we were married, we moved to Ruston, La and began our adventure in our now crazy football world. In Ruston, we lived in 3 houses, one of which we bought, two of which were roach infested (I wish I were kidding). One year to the day of moving to Louisianna, we packed up and moved to Muncie, Indiana. We lived in two houses (one of which we bought), and our two oldest daughters were born.
Two weeks after Megan Claire was born, we moved to Tulsa, where we currently live, and we are now on our 2nd rent house here, and yes, we are beginning the process of buying yet another home. We also welcomed our third surprise baby.
What a ride we've been on over the last eight years.
Just to let you know, I wouldn't change a thing!
