Just Some Randoms

I'm way behind on blogging, so I'm doing a little catch up!

 I was home with Meggie and Addy on Gretchen's second week of kindergarten... this was the last week of August. Addy turned 8 weeks old, and she's becoming a little more alert after she eats. Before we had to pick G up from school, Addy had a little tummy time and Meggie wanted to play with her. 

Meggie brought out her light up singing lantern and was showing Addy how to play with it.

Such a sweet mommy Meggie is.

I told Meggie to lay down beside Addy so I could get a picture, and this is what happened:

Much better.

That Saturday, DJ was home almost all day, and I did tons of sewing!

Saturday night, Addy helped me ship packages.

We took the girls to church on Sunday.

Addy was a happy girl that afternoon.

I love catching her smiles!

That afternoon, I did more re-decorating, and I rearranged my dining room.

And Sunday night I made homemade pizza. It was delicious.

Shop Update: Collegiate Wear

I'm busily working this week on finishing up collegiate orders before Adalyn arrives! Be sure to check out my facebook album for all of the collegiate designs made so far!

My mom embroidered this "Tulsa Girl" shirt for Adalyn, but she accidentally placed it to low on the onesie, so I added the ribbon and bow, and I love the end result! It totally looks like we did this on purpose, and sometimes mistakes turn into fabulous outcomes! 

This design is $20.00

I've had three more tutu, shirt, and bow orders and I finished this USC set this past weekend. A full set like this retails for $55.00.

I'm currently working on another Florida Gators set and a Michigan set and can't wait to see them finished!

Adalyn should arrive on Friday, so I'm busy getting everything completed and shipped before she arrives, or at the least within the first week after!

I will be planning a little vacation while we get settled and then i'll be up and running again with ready to ship bows and a huge 5 year anniversary giveaway and sale!

Shop Update: Sister Set

I really debated having my mom help me make sister shirts for the girls or ordering something from Etsy, but once she received a new embroidery machine and software, that enabled us to make our own designs, I knew that this was the way to go!

One afternoon, I sat around playing with the software, and came up with the design for the shirts. I finally decided on colors, and set to work ordering ribbon and pieces for the hair bows, and my mom set to work making the shirts.

Here's how the set turned out:

Agh! Aren't they adorable?!?!

I cannot wait for the girls to wear them!

Gretchen and Megan will wear their shirts & bows to the hospital when they meet Adalyn on Friday. Once Adalyn has had her bath, we'll change her into her onesie & bow. Then let the obscene amount of pictures begin!

I'm not sure why I forgot to take a picture of Adalyn's hair bow, but it's the same, except it says "Lil Sister".

You can also order this set for your little honey pie's! A set of three shirts is $50.00, or order them for $18.00 a piece. The hair bows are $10.00 each due to the bottle caps, feathers, and special order ribbon.
