#weltegram2014 Day 57-63

It's Thursday, and another rendition of your #weltegram2014!!! Yay! I know you're all super pumped! 

Honestly, I've had so much fun taking pictures every day, although there are some days that I almost forget, and then I have to come up with something quick!

Day 57-  The girls and I decided to bake brownies for daddy!

Day 58- Date night!!!! Woo-hoo!

Day 59- The day we re-organized our office, and almost took this girl to the ER. 

Day 60- I got to hang out with Addy Pearl, while DJ took the big girls to the TU basketball game. She had a much needed bath!

Day 61- DJ took the girls to see The Lego movie!

Day 62- Gretchen lost another tooth! I love that she wrote a note to the tooth fairy letting her know where her tooth was. 

Day 63- Meggie and I had a sick day. She had been running a temperature, so we stayed home from school. She slept until 9 in the morning, and then by 11, had layed down again, and fell asleep. She had her mittens and gloves on because she was trying to convince me to let her go play in the snow!

Hope y'all have a great Thursday! This week has flown by because I haven't had to work, but I know i'm going to be drowning in work today, and we have parent teacher conferences tonight, so say a prayer that DJ will be able to survive having all three girls this evening! To be honest, i'm not 100% sure I feel sorry for him!

#weltegram2014 Day 51-56

It's Thursday, which means one of two things. 1) You're one day closer to Friday 2.) It's time for another installment of #weltegram2014 where you'll get a daily picture from  our lives over the past week. 

Day 51- You get two pictures, because the photo collage I had made, was somehow missing off my phone.

 

My girls were practicing their soccer skills with daddy.

 

We want to sign Gretchen up for soccer again right after spring break. When I was talking to Gretchen about soccer, at dinner, Megan said, "Me want to play soccer." So maybe, just maybe we'll sign her up or at least let her try a class. I'm sort of afraid that she'll be timid and shy and scared and not want to participate in the class, but maybe she'll do great, and DJ and I both think that Megan may be a little more athletic than her older sister.

Day 52- DJ grilled pork chops and asparagus while the girls played outside.

Day 53- The girls wore red to church. Addy was not wanting to have her picture taken.

 

And side note, but I cannot figure out how to resize all of my pictures. It'll let me resize some of the pictures, but not all of them, and I just realized that some of my pictures are getting cut off because I have no idea how to resize the layout of my blog in genera.

Day 54- I took Addy to the doctor because she had a horrible rash, which was determined that it was either Fifth's Disease or Roseola. Your guess is as good as mine.

Day 55- My little thumb sucker. Her rash was so much better and pretty much gone!

Day 56- We went out to eat as a family and this dinner was enough to make me never want to eat out with my children again. Even though we were all smiles at the end!

#weltegram2014 Day 44-50

Welcome back to my blog today :) I took a little break over the last few days since DJ was out of town and things were a bit crazy to say the least!

 

It's Thursday, which means we only have to survive today and tomorrow and the weekend is here! Here's a look back at our week.

Day 44- Gretchen had her Valentine's party at Kindergarten today. She looked gorgeous in her applique shirt & m2m hair bow!

 

Day 45-My Valentine's Day dates! We had our annual Valentine's day pizza dinner.

Day 46- DJ and I took the girls to a TU basketball game.

Day 47- When daddy's away and Gee is here, we go out for late evening ice cream!

Day 48-Gee spoiled Gretchen Rose today while they stayed home together. She bought her a new LaLaLoopsy doll!

Day 49- Addy Pearl was a happy baby tonight!!! She usually is fussy or napping in the evenings, so the rarity that she was happy was so exciting for me!

Day 50- We had McDonald's for dinner. Sometimes, you just need to not cook and not care!

#weltegram2014 Day 37-43

We are all finally on the mend from being sick and the weather is finally feeling warmer so we are all in great spirits around here!

Day 37- The girls stayed up late to watch American Idol.

I'm so glad Idol has new judges this year. I absolutely could not bring myself to watch last year, but i'm loving this season already! I don't mind the girls watching it either right now. I feel like it's finally a family show again, and Gretchen of course wants to be on American Idol when she gets older. 

Day 38- Gretchen decorated her Valentine's day box for school. 

Day 39- DJ took Gretchen on a date night! They went out to eat at Charlestons, had ice cream, went to Target, and then went to a Father/Daughter Dance!

I love her in her cupcake dress! 

Day 40- Addy Pearl is army crawling y'all! It took the whole family to motivate her to move around. She's already trying to get up on her knees so it won't be too long before she's chasing after her big sisters. 

Day 41- DJ was in Vegas, so I let the girls watch Frozen when we got home from school. 

Day 42- DJ was still gone, and it was crazy with the big girls running around when we got home, so I sent them upstairs to Gretchen's room to play and I snuck in some cuddles with Adalyn. 

Day 43- I took the big girls on a trip to Target to pick up Valentine's for their teachers and a birthday present for one of G's friends. They started kissing each other in the aisle! Cutest thing ever!

Tulsa is suppose to get in the 60s this weekend, so cheers to a fabulously warm "spring-like" weekend!

#weltegram2014 Day 30-Day 36

It's Thursday, and another installment of #weltegram2014.

 

This week has been a little rough remembering to get a picture every day! One night I was already in the bed (I went to bed super early) and I had to convince myself to get back up in order to get a picture!



Day 30- This is what being a girl mom is all about. Dress up time.

Day 31-Gretchen was student of the month at school!

Day 32- We made cookies in our matching monogrammed aprons!

Day 33- Addy Pearl got her first tooth!  (2/2/14)

Day 34- Meggie reading a book before bedtime.

Day 35- This is the day I got back up out of bed to get a picture! I wasn't feeling good once I got home, so I went to lay down and DJ took over all the duties that night! He's superdad!

day 36- I'm still not feeling great, but I had to get some things done around the house in order to catch up... Meggie came over and asked me to hold her and watch t.v. Sometimes you just have to stop what you're doing and enjoy the moment.

And, I had to include this extra one... Addy's teacher sent me this picture yesterday of her painting at daycare. She looks like a little toddler to me and it made me so sad! It's also her first art project!

#weltegram2014 Days 24-29

It's Thursday, and while some of you are winding down your week, mine is just getting started. I'm finally back at work today, after having the last five days off. Last Thursday, I stayed home with Megan to take her to the doctor, and Gretchen came home from school sick. Here's what the rest of our week looked like:

Day 24- Gretchen layed on the couch all day not feeling well, but by the evening she felt much better and we decided to go ahead and have her birthday party. That night, she got a bath and I curled her hair. She was so excited for her party!

Day 25- DJ and I had a date night since my mom came up for Gretchen's birthday. We went to eat at Fish Daddy's and then we drove around a few neighborhoods that we are thinking of buying a house in. We use to drive around all the time, but it's much more difficult with the girls. They get so bored!

Day 26- Birthday Doughnut! Gretchen turned 6! 

Day 27- I stayed home because I was sick, and around 3:00 pm, Gretchen was sent home from school with a 102 temperature.

Day 28- Addy was awfully fussy. I was praying that she wouldn't get sick like the rest of us, and I finally went to the doctor that afternoon.

Day 29- Cuddled with this girl all day. She and I took a nap together from 10-12:15! 

I think she is getting a little bit of the crud that we have all had. 

I'm determined that we will all feel better! And praying that we will not get sick anymore, because this mama is going to be out of sick days!

#weltegram2014 Week 3

You're about to see a running theme with this weeks pictures! I about died laughing when I saw them all uploaded together! It's quiet comical how our week has been spinning out of control, and now I'm thinking this is God's way of once again reminding me to 'SLOW DOWN.' 

Day 17: I came home from my Bows, Bags, & Wine party to find this little girl still awake at almost midnight! Her school called earlier in the day to let us know she was running a temperature. DJ stayed home with her that evening, and we learned that tylenol makes this girl wired. 

Day 18: We had a lazy day at home and made yonana (banana ice cream) for an afternoon snack.

Day 19: I spent the day with my almost 6 year old! We picked up birthday party things, did some shopping, had lunch, and went to Target. She kept remind me to, 'let me be myself!" Which, is a hard thing to hear.

Day 20: DJ and I watched the Bachelor together on Monday night after the girls went to bed. This may is my rock.

Day 21: Someone missed their daddy today!

Day 22:  Her ear hurts, or maybe she just wants snuggles……  regardless, she was up until about 11 pm. 

Day 23: Turns out Megan did have an ear infection. As I was pulling out of the drive to take her to the doctor, G's school called and she got sent home with a temperature. I didn't realize I'd be taking two little girls to the doctor, but our doctor squeezed Gretchen in. Turns out Meggie needed an inhaler along with her antibiotics for her ear, while Gretchen ended up with a 102.9 fever and was diagnosed with a viral infection. I'm just glad it's not the flu!

Phew! Don't you love our running theme of sickness this week!

#weltegram2014 Days 8-16

Y'all, it's one of those days where I just can't think straight! Today is calling for a short blog posts, and i'll just be thanfkul that it was published and I can cross it off my to-do list!

Day 8: It's a wellies kind of day!

Day 9 We caught Meggie out of her bed after we tucked her in, which by the way, happens almost every night! She had put her snow boots on and was ready to party!

Addy Pearl likes the camera! (Day 10).... and look at those blue eyes!

Day 11- Addy Pearl is pretty much a sitting girl! (If you count sitting for only about 10 seconds before falling over.)

Day 12- We went to Hideaway Pizza after church for lunch!

Day 13- I was getting some extra snuggles in with Addy since she was up past her bedtime!

 

Day 14- I had to fuel up before going to sit through a 2 hour IEP compliance meeting.

Day 15- My hubby came home and took over dinner!

Day 16- These girls snuck out of bed to watch American Idol!

 

Phew..... I hope y'all had a great week! I know ours was crazy busy, but fabulous! (story of my life.) I can tell you that I am looking forward to this weekend!
