Tutu's, Flair, & a Bib

08.39

I put this shirt up for auction on facebook about a week ago, and I was so thrilled when someone bid on it! I started making these last fall, and then went back to my more traditional applique's, but I love this look and was so excited to be making another one! The lady that won the auction, left the fabric choices up to me, letting me know it was a baby gift.

I looked through my fabric stash, and was originally thinking chevron, until I found this fabric. It's such a fun bright color and will be perfect for this summer!
The pin is detachable and is hand sewn. I added the lime green flower for a fun touch!
The headband is made with the same fabrics and are three rolled rosettes clustered together.

I just love how it turned out!
I also had a recent order for sister tutu's, and this is the infant one i've made. I still need to make the big sister tutu, but their mom just welcomed baby #6 (yes, SIX!) and doesn't need them until Easter, so i'm making the other this weekend. She chose purple, light blue, pink, and touches of gold.

I think it would also make the cutest Sofia the 1st inspired tutu!
Another auction item was for a fabric tutu skirt. Again, it's something that I wanted to make another variety of, and the customer chose purple, pink, and yellow to match the onesie that her daughter would be wearing in her Easter pictures.

I also made a hair clip to match!

And, I think it could be a super cute Rapunzel inspired tutu as well!
The hair clip was made using a fabric flower puff, as well as three rolled rosettes and a piece of purple tulle.
Now on to a few ready-to-ship items! I love when I have the time and energy to create my own pieces!

The first piece is a satin peach colored flower clip. It's simple and beautiful and I totally think an adult could get away wearing this piece in their hair!
I have been wanting to make bibs with minky backing for a while, and I finally purchased the minky fabric at the beginning of the month, but let me tell you, I was super intimidated. I've heard horror stories about sewing on minky, but I was bound and determined to try it out!

It wasn't as bad as I thought, and I love how this green damask bib turned out! I think it works for boys and girls, for St. Patrick's day or Christmas!
Here's the back:
If you're interested in ordering any of these items, please visit my facebook business page or leave a comment on this post! I won't publish comments that have ordering information in them!

I absolutely love creating these custom pieces and I think they'd all make unique, one of a kind baby shower or birthday gifts!!!

And, prices start at just $6.00 for hair bows, and nothing is over $25.00!!!
