Photos with the Birthday Girl

MC is definitely under the 2nd child curse. I honestly wasn't sure I would have time with her schedule to take family photos before the party. Thankfully, she woke up in time, and I was able to feed her lunch and get her dressed in time to take family photos. I knew that I needed to have these, plus I wanted updated pictures of our family that I plan on framing in our new house.

Here's one of MC crawling around before the party. She still prefers to "army" crawl, but she is crawling on all 4s now!

My mom and I made MC her party hat. G actually didn't wear her party hat until after her 1st birthday when my mother-in-law remembered that we had it! And even though MC didn't wear hers very long, I was able to get a good picture of her in it! We will reuse this party hat for every birthday she has.

 Grandma Dee was able to make it to the party! We are so glad that they could get off work for a few days to be able to join us. This is the first birthday party of our girls that they have been able to make it to! (It didn't help that we also use to live 12 hours apart!) And, MC is doing her favorite thing (picking her nose!)

G wasn't cooperating very well, but we managed to get a family photo, although I don't think this will be framed any time soon! MC is still picking that nose! And, I promise that DJ and I did not plan on coordinating our clothes.

 This one will definitely be framed! We don't have any good photos of us with DJ's dad and step-mom.

 And, I love this picture with MC and her pops. It's such a good photo of both of them!

 G still wasn't cooperating very well, but we managed to get a photo of the girls with their pops and grandma Dee.

 Aunt Tiffany even came! Uncle Matthew and cousin A were in the backyard playing and I didn't get a picture of them with the birthday girl!

 Here's one of just Miss MC- still picking that nose!

 And despite what my mother thinks, I love this picture of MC with her Gee.

 And, this of the girls is just priceless. I think it's pretty obvious that I was forcing them to take this photo!

And another of the birthday girl crawling around before her party! I can't believe it's almost been a year, that she's entered our lives. I think we've learned a lot about ourselves in the past year, and we sure do appreciate being closer to our families!
