My niece turned two on April 6th, and we went to my mom's for her birthday party. My brother and SIL chose a 'monster' theme.
She did a great job on the food and decorations!
My mom and SIL made cupcakes and put 'monster eyes' on them.
She also served 'monster fingers' (cheetos), 'monster scabs' (doritos)......
and 'monster eyes' (grapes)
She glued googly eyes on the cups
She made a little monster mouth out of a tissue box to hold the utensils
She also decorated these paper lanterns to go with her monster theme.
I absolutely loved the party favors she came up with!
She had monster suckers, and 'monster doh', and little monsters for the kids to take home with a sign that said, "Adopt a Monster".
My SIL made A's shirt, and my mom and SIL made her ruffled pants. I made her hair bow.
My niece loves her gee!
Above the entrance to the dining room, my SIL re-used the birthday banner she had made for A's first birthday, and hung paper lanterns on each side.
I didn't want to share too many pictures of my niece and the party, just to protect their privacy, but I had to share this one picture of A.
She received this Melissa & Doug flower sprinkler and was just in love with it! She carried it around and showed everyone. Hilarious, because she has no idea that it'll eventually shoot water around and will be even more fun to play with!
Happy Birthday A!
