A few weeks ago, the girls and I went back to Gee's house to celebrate my niece's 2nd birthday. We got in Friday evening in time to enjoy pizza out with my mom, sister in law, and niece. My brother had to work and my stepdad was out of town, so it was a good girls night out!
Saturday morning my mom and I got up to go look at furniture for Adalyn's room.
We went back to her house, and had lunch and put MC down for a nap. G enjoyed playing outside for a bit!
My brother and I went to look at the house he's building, and then we went to pick up the furniture that we had purchased that morning. (We had to take his truck.) By the time we got back it was time for Amelia's birthday party.
My grandmother was there, and MC enjoyed hanging out with her.
After Amelia's party, we went back out to eat at a mexican restaurant- we were too tired from the party to cook dinner!
The girls and I got up Sunday morning and drove home. DJ stayed home that weekend because he had the spring football game, and he did some yard work.
It was a good weekend away, but I was glad to get home!
April has been full of travels for us- we've only had one weekend home the entire month! But, I know things will slow down in May, and then we won't be able to travel this summer because i'll be too far in my 3rd trimester!
I love that we live so close to family and that we can make these trips!
