There are times when my daughters drive me insane. I love them, but life is crazy, and our lives are hectic. Especially the month of April. I just can't believe how busy we have been, but looking back, we have moments where I'm just overwhelmed with the emotion of how blessed DJ and I are.
I hate how life gets in the way and makes us forget the two little blessings God has given us.
Once a week, I come home and turn on the t.v. for the girls. They don't watch much during the week, except for this one night, but it allows me to get laundry done, or dinner cooked, or to catch up on emails and orders.
DJ came home early and was hanging out in the kitchen with me while I was cooking dinner. We both looked over to find the girls sitting together in the one rocking chair we have.
MC had crawled up with G, and sat in her lap, and G was totally unphased. It was a moment of pure bliss, and showed us the love that these sisters have for each other.
When DJ took G to her first soccer practice, MC and I went outside to play.
I love when I get to be with the girls one on one. It reminds me of when we just had G, and were debating on having more children, and brings me back to a time when life was easier.
MC is just so happy (most of the time) and I love what she has added to our family.
These are going to be the best two sisters to little Adalyn, and i'm so thankful that God gave them to us! I pray that I can slow down and enjoy these girls and their individual personalties that God has given them!
