I'm finally on the lasts of my Easter posts from this year!!! Since DJ and I bought our new camera for Christmas, I'm having too much fun taking pictures and taking way too many and narrowing them all down to edit and include in albums and my blog! I really, really tried!
After church on Easter Sunday, we went to my aunt's house for lunch. As soon as we arrived, the other guests were ready to eat, but we wanted to try to get a picture of the cousins together.
I don't know why we tried. We failed miserably!
My niece A just did not want to participate and there was no way MC was taking her "dee dee" (paci) out of her mouth! And G is just too full of her own personality to cooperate!
We managed to eat lunch which was a task in itself and then the kids were ready to hunt eggs!

Because it had rained all weekend, we let the kids hunt eggs on my aunts patio. It worked out perfectly because they didn't get muddy, and her patio is large enough that there were plenty of hiding spots!
MC was the first one out because she's the youngest.
G was just so excited and found so many eggs!
I went through all of the eggs later that afternoon, and can't even tell you the pounds of candy we ended up with! And, that was after I was tossing some of the candy to the older cousins and trying to get rid of all that I could!
Before I realized it, it was 4:00 in the afternoon, we were 40 minutes away from my parents and had a 4 hour drive back to Tulsa ahead of us. I promised G that she could go to preschool on Monday, because she'd be line leader and she did not want to miss!
Since DJ drove down Saturday afternoon, he ended up going home to Tulsa with G in tow, and MC and I decided to stay one more night at Gee's house.

It was such an exciting 4 day weekend, and i'm so thankful that we are living close enough to family that we can enjoy the holidays together!
