Last week we had snow in Oklahoma! I know this isn't a rarity, but I was finally okay with it snowing. I was so over snow after living in Indiana for four years, that I could care less if I ever see it again. I went to work last Wednesday morning in the snow and was convinced that we'd be able to leave at a half day. Alas, it was not in the cards, and I was stuck at work all day and the girls were stuck at preschool.
But, when we got home, there was still snow and G was begging to play with our neighbors!
She really wanted to build a snowman!
Our neighbor, who moved from Florida about a year ago, was very impressed with G's snowman making skills!
MC got in on the action and helped G. It warms my heart to see the girls playing together.
Our neighbor had out his sled and the girls had fun being pulled around. (Ours was in the attic.) Once MC was in there, we couldn't get her out!
After playing for about 45 minutes, G was freezing and we headed inside to warm up. We don't have proper snow gear here, and had to make do with what we had.
I made the girls hot chocolate and we immediately changed into our pj's and sat by the fire!
