MC's first birthday party was this past weekend. I absolutely love how the party decorations turned out!
I made this "Sweet Shop" birthday banner for the party favor area. Each side has a red circle, with an ice cream cone, and the words are written in red and adorned with red sequins on pink circles. I'm going to reuse this banner in the girls play room above their toy kitchen area!I purchased a variety of plastic ice cream sundae cups from Hobby Lobby and filled the bottoms with red crinkle paper. I added a bag of sprinkles and a bag of oreos. Each had a hand made "tag" that had an ice cream cone stamp and read "Thank you" on one side, and "Sprinkle" and "Crush" on the other side.
I also made a "Megan" banner that hung above the ice cream table.
Our dining room table set the stage for all of our ice cream toppings. I placed a lime fabric that her birthday hat had been made with as a 'tablecloth', and hung pink tissue poms on our chandelier.
I used glass containers for the toppings and made hand made labels, each adorned with a red sequin.
I ordered stickers from an Etsy shop, which adorned some of the topping containers, as well as our ice cream cups.
I made a scrap fabric banner for our mantle, and placed photos from MC's first year. I also placed three glass containers filled with sprinkles, and on one end placed to glass candlesticks with red candles.
Here's a close up of one of the containers with sprinkles and a sticker.
Here's a close up of the mantle!
Above are the party favor cups! Guests took these home and can enjoy their own ice cream sundaes!
I spray painted this frame in hot pink and clipped more photos from MC's first year!
