I finally uploaded pictures from my real camera, and even though I've blogged about our Arkansas trip in iphone pictures, I wanted to add my camera photos too. So, enjoy your double dose! 
This is when we arrived Friday at my mom's house.
Gretchen had spent Friday morning coloring my mom a picture, but we left it at home. She was so disappointed! When we arrived, my mom got out the crayons, and Gretchen colored her another picture.
On Sunday, we drove to Searcy to meet my mother in law for her birthday.

Poor Meggie was scared to death of the hibachi grill and was pretty miserable throughout dinner.
The waitress even tried to pick her up at one point, and Meggie freaked out on her. I don't know why, but people always think they should pick her up when she's scared to death and just wants her mommy. I could not make this stuff up, but it happens all the time. Note to strangers, do not pick up Megan. She will cry and scream and freak out on you.
We gave Nana a lunch bag from Thirty-one, and flowers.
We also brought cupcakes and I think all the cousins enjoyed those the most!

On Monday, my mom and I thought it would keep the kids occupied to play outside in the water. It lasted for about 15 minutes, but I got some cute pictures, and i'm sharing only these two.
I think by Monday, Gretchen was pretty worn out!
I'm so glad we were able to get away for a few days and spend time with family! It means so much to me to be living so close to them again!
