Because that's what this is going to be. I'm starting to see that all of my posts are turning in to exactly the same thing... I blog out our week, our weekend, and the things that I made. Man, I need some new ideas! I think next week, i'll pay attention and try to link up to a few blogs.... sounds like fun.
Okay, on to the randomness of this past week.
This is what I wore to work on Monday; I apologize for the lighting. The lighting in my office is horrible. And the files, oh my. I have a tiny little corner in a huge classroom. The rest of the room is filled with band music sheets. I'm told that in January, the music sheets will be gone, and I will have this huge room to myself! The biggest speech room that i'll ever have and i'm so excited about that!
Back to the outfit. I paired cognac colored slacks with gold wedges, a navy shirt, green sweater, and gold floral necklace. Thank you Pinterest for the inspiration!
Meggie was standing in front of me the other day, and I just couldn't believe how long her hair has gotten!
Bible study was Tuesday, and I was exhausted. I tried a pumpkin spice latte a few weeks ago, but I am just not a coffee drinker. I have tried, and I just can't. So, I drove through Sonic and got a large coke. Thank you Sonic for having .99 large drinks in the morning!
After Bible study, Addy and I came home and she napped while I sewed. She woke up to eat, and afterwards I put her in the bouncy seat while I finished a project. She got fussy so I held her and she helped me embroider.
I completed this headband for Fallon's daughter.
Thank you Fallon for being a member of the bow of the month club! And, for being such a great fan!
Thursday, Gretchen had school pictures, and this is the dress she picked out to wear.
I was holding Addy, and she looked so grumpy; I had to take her picture.
Later that night, I finally got Addy to sleep, and this is right before I debated putting her down in her bassinet. I finally did, and of course she woke up within a few minutes. DJ finally just brought her bassinet into the living room.
Most evenings, I sit on the bed and stick the paci in her mouth over and over again until she finally falls asleep, which means that DJ gets to watch t.v. in the living room, while I'm hanging out in the bedroom. I really need to get a bedtime routine for her.
We have a TU game this weekend, and I made this for Gretchen to wear. I'm trying to figure out if i'll have time to make Megan one too.
We have a birthday party on Sunday, and I made this turkey shirt for the birthday girl! It's her older sisters birthday too, and she's getting a matching shirt, and I had to make their brother one too! I'm telling you, if it's your turn to get a gift from me, it's going to be embroidered or appliquéd. Because..... i'm on a budget! And, they're cute, and I may be obsessed.
So, there it is..... my big, long, random post! Hope y'all enjoyed!
And, don't forget to check out Erika's blog & enter to win a HPA pumpkin headband!
