I absolutely love when customers return, and I get to become a part of their lives! Ms. Lily actually lives in Indiana, where DJ and I use to live before moving to Oklahoma. Her mother and I were pregnant at the same time, she with Lily, me with Gretchen, and we took the same prenatal class. We eventually found out we worked for the same school district, and her father in law, was one of my husbands bosses. It truly can be a small world.
Over time, Lilly's mom began purchasing from Honey Pie Accessories and the girls became friends, attending each other's birthdays, having play dates, and I was given the opportunity to create halloween costumes, dresses, and game day shirts for Ms. Lily.
I was thrilled when her mom purchased a back to school bow pack to match Lily's school uniform.
Then, her mom sent me a picture of Lily heading out to kindergarten, and I remembered this photo I also had of Lily as a toddler.
My how she's grown and changed!
(I miss that we don't live near each other, because I know our girls would still be good friends.)
Lily, I hope you enjoy kindergarten! I hope you learn, and grow, and continue to be a sweet little girl! Lydgia, thank you for being a friend and customer of HPA!
