On Thursday, we celebrated G's birthday at her preschool. I absolutely love being able to go in and take a special treat and see her interact with all of her friends!
I made her a "5" pink and white chevron shirt to wear.
We paired her shirt with a ruffled skirt and grey leggings.
G and I discussed several times what sort of treat she wanted to take to her preschool. Last year, we took donuts and orange juice. I had the idea to take in pizza this year, but G wanted cake. Then she decided she wanted a cake that looked like a pizza, so we settled on this cookie cake.
Gs teacher gave her a special crown to wear and had her answer some "getting to know you questions".

After the kids enjoyed their treats, G asked if I would stay and read her class a book. I loved the opportunity to stay and share in special moment with her class. G chose a book about penguins.
DJ even came for the celebration. He wasn't sure if he was going to get to escape from work, but G and I were both glad that he did!
