We decorated our Christmas tree a few weeks ago, and I just have not taken the time to upload the pictures! I finally did Sunday evening, because my husband is watching football. Our DVR is set to record Survivor, and I really want to be watching "The Bachelorette" wedding episode, but since I can't change the channel without messing up Survivor or the game, I'm working on some blog posts.
And, now that you know the truth, here's our Christmas photos from decorating the tree:
For some reason, G decided to put on a little dance show before we started. 
MC was just taking it all in.
The girls were very excited to see all of our ornaments. G would hang them on the tree, and MC pulled them out and handed them to each of us.
Then, MC decided to join in on some dancing!
G hung most of her ornaments on the bottom, in a row.... I've since moved a few of them, my OCD just couldn't let it go!
Here I am sticking in the pearls and feathers at the top of the tree- they add such a whimsical affect.
And, DJ placing the angel on top. We've both decided that we need a new tree topper this year. Our angel is beautiful, and given to us by my aunt when we got married, but her color is off for the tree, and she just will not sit on top without falling off. As of tonight, she's hiding behind our tree, because she's fallen off at least four times.

I attempted some of the girls together, but they were just being too silly. MC only wanted to sit on top of G, or she wanted to lay down.
So, both girls decided to lay down.
MC crawled under the tree to check out the "choo chop" ornaments.
At least I got a decent one of just her.
Then, G decided she wanted more pictures taken of her. But, only wanted to lay down....
or do back bends.
Here's our tree all lit up at night. I have really loved sitting in the evenings and looking at our tree. It just brings so much peace to my heart.
And, a wider view, full of ambience- our tree and fireplace, complete with a fire.
