The girls were up pretty early on Christmas morning, as they were excited to see if Santa had surprised them and came to see them twice! (Since, he came to our house on the 22nd.) Actually, before bed, G prayed, "Dear Lord, Please let Santa come to see me again."
God answers prayers, or at least Pops and Grandma Dee do, because they made sure the girls had a few "Santa" presents under the Christmas tree! I learned later that Grandma Dee had never had a Christmas where, as an adult, she was able to enjoy the excitement kids had for Christmas! So, she made sure that the girls would have a magical morning!
The girls wore matching Christmas pj's that my mom bought them. (She buys the same plaid jammies for the girls every year!)
After having so many celebrations, MC was a pro at knowing that there were goodies inside the wrapped paper and she was ready to get started!
We decided to do stockings first.
We received candy, bandanas, small babies, pea dispensers, and more!
We even had a chocolate bar with millions of dollars!
MC enjoyed the "balls".
After stockings, we ate a quick breakfast of fruit and cinnamon rolls. I was really impressed with how patient the girls were!
MC was even content playing with toys before we opened presents.
And, we took a few more pictures before digging in!
The girls were really excited to help their grandparents open the presents.
About 1/4 of the way through, we gave MC one of her presents, she took it over to this box and sat down and for 5 minutes she worked and worked until she had opened the present al by herself! She was so proud!
G helped pass out presents.
The girls received princesses, Barbies, dolls, and more!
MC loved playing the flute that G received.
Pops received this Bears jacket from his brother.
Thank you Pops and Grandma Dee for making Christmas morning so special for the girls!
