Last week, I had parent teacher conferences on two evenings. It was absolutely exhausting, and made for a long week, and I am SO glad that week is over!
Due to DJ's work schedule, I had to pick the girls up from daycare and take them with me to school. I'm thankful my principals' let me do this, or else i'd have to of gotten a babysitter, and to be honest, I hate paying a babysitter if I don't really need to! So, I picked them up after school, and drug them back to school for the evening!
MC always exhausts me! She's such a climber and would climb on any surface she possibly could! She also wouldn't let me leave the room without her, so she was able to meet lots of teachers and parents!
DJ was suppose to pick the girls up on Tuesday evening, but he forgot, so I promptly called him on Thursday reminding him! I let the girls play up front while I was waiting for him to get to school. They had fun playing in the fire truck and looking at books. MC (climbing again) waved and said 'hi' and 'bye' to everyone walking by!
Once DJ arrived, I took the girls out to his truck, but G wanted to have her picture made on the benches. I love how she jumped up there, crossed her legs, put her hands in her lap and smiled! She's getting too big!
Speaking of big, MC is finally forward facing in daddy's truck! I bought her a new carseat last weekend, because she was still using her infant carrier in his truck. It was definitely time for an upgrade! DJ said that she loved being forward facing and that she talked the entire way home!
