This weekend has been nothing but crazy! DJ and I were suppose to leave Thursday night for Dallas, but Wednesday evening, G ended up with a fever.
Thursday morning, G and I were both sick and I had both girls with me at the doctor. G and I were diagnosed with strep throat, and I was begging my mom to come up, even though she had a stomach bug. All, I can say is thank God for mama's!
DJ ended up leaving for Dallas and spending Friday with his family. He flew to the TU game at Marshall Saturday morning, and thankfully, he came home with another win!
Because we were sick, we were able to have a long weekend, and i'm not going to lie, the extra sleep was needed. Thankfully, Saturday morning G and I were both feeling better, and we decided to run to Hobby Lobby before Gee had to head back home.
We dressed the girls in their Halloween outfits and new hair bows. We went to Chick Fil A for lunch, and came home so Gee could head back home.
MC and I took naps on Saturday afternoon, while G played in her room. Then we settled in to watch the game.
I love how serious MC is watching football!
After the girls went to bed, I was able to work on a Halloween tutu gown order and watched a lifetime movie. I tried to wait up for DJ, but I passed out around midnight.
On Sunday, we slept in a bit, and had a lazy morning. Sadly, the girls didn't spend too much time with daddy this morning, because he had to get to work. We play on Thursday night this week, and it makes for a short week at the football office!
The girls and I took it easy, thankfully they both took naps and I was able to complete two hair bow orders. I'll share pictures of these later this week :)
Even though, we were sick, the weekend was just what we needed- time to relax! Now back to a busy work week!
