On Saturday, I surprised G with a trip to the state fair and to see Princess on Ice. I worked all week on her Cinderella costume dress, and she was so excited to finally get to wear it!

And, she even took a "ride" in a lego Cinderella carriage!
I spoiled her a little bit, by purchasing a snow cone in a Rapunzel cup for her to enjoy during the show. She ate it throughout the entire first half and ended up freezing herself!
We actually had pretty good seats, even though our section was changed. We were only three rows away from the action on the ice!
We watched "Princess & the Frog", "Cinderella", and "Tangled". I don't have pictures of the "Tangled" act from my camera, but let me tell you- it was amazing!!! Rapunzel and Flynn were flying around above the ice on her "hair", and it was so impressive!
I think G enjoyed the second half of the show better than the first, because she finally put her snow cone down, and we changed her back to her dress, since she was freezing! She stood up and danced throughout the 2nd half of the show!
Afterwards, we walked back to meet Gee (who was watching MC and enjoying the cake exhibit). And, we got a little distracted by the carnival games. G was dying to play one, so I let her play the game where you throw the balls in the fish bowl and can win a fish. For $5.00, you're guaranteed a fish, and we actually got 4 balls in, which meant 4 fish!
I told the man to just give us two, because there was no way we could carry or take care of four fish!
Meet Bob and Suzy:
They came home with us, but died on Sunday, so they were only with our family for one year. I definitely do not know how to take care of fish! But thankfully, G understood that they weren't going to live long and that they are in fish heaven.
