I'm taking G to Princess on Ice this weekend, and decided that she needed something special to wear.
She has no idea that i'm taking her to the show, but she already loves princesses, and she talks about ice skating all the time- so it's a perfect combination! My mom is coming to watch MC, so it'll just be a fun morning for G and I! I wanted to surprise her with the gown as well, but I really needed her to try it on, and to get her measurements as I was making it. So, I told her what I was making and that it's for a special surprise on Saturday. She's so excited!
Here's how her tutu gown turned out:
The gown has a light blue crocheted bodice with light blue tulle, intermixed with light blue sparkle tulle. I also added loops on each hip, and sequined bows where the loops join to the gown. She has organza off the shoulder sleeves and a sequin bow on the top.
Here's an up close of the sequined bows.
I made her this hair bow last year and it's perfect for her to wear again.
I can't wait for her to wear this Saturday and for her to see her surprise!
If your daughter is dreaming of being a princess this Halloween, I would love to make her a tutu gown or skirt!
