For the past two years, G has been more than willing to tube with a partner, usually me, while we were at the lake. She even tubed with me on Father's day weekend this year, but while we were tubing on that trip, she decided the ride was a little too rough.
We stopped the boat to swim in a cove, and encouraged G to just get on the tube by herself. She had fun climbing on and off and laying and playing.
We eventually convinced her to stand up on the tube, and to perform other little "tricks".
Then, DJ gently pulled her through the water on the tube, and she enjoyed herself. So, we did what any good parent would do. We bribed her with ice cream!
We told G that if she could tube by herself, that we would take her to get a milk shake after dinner, and she agreed!
I was so proud of her, and she was having so much fun!
I promise we were driving really slow and, as I've mentioned before, Pops lives on a private small lake, so there were no other boats. We didn't drive crazy to knock her off either!
When she was done, she jumped off though and DJ swam in to help her, and she got her milkshake that night!
