Wow! What a random blog post title is that?! It's Monday, and i'm at work, and I need to pass the time. What better way then to catch up on a little blog writing?
I am backed up on bow orders, so I brought my supplies to work wtih me today, and managed to almost get caught up! I still need to make another pigtail set, and then place these on clips, but I thought it might not be professional of me to bring my alligator clips and glue gun on the job!
I had a custom order for a black velvet bow with ivory satin ribbon, and this is what i've come up with: I'm going to tie it together with more black velvet ribbon, and everytime I've thought about working on this bow, the song, "Black Velvet" plays in my head.
Now, let's move on to this past week and dumping iPhone photos off my phone and onto this blog.
DJ has been home more this past week, which has been AMAZING. Seriously, I forget how much I love having my husband home! Sometimes, it's nice that he works so much because I don't have to cook a real dinner, but man, I miss this man when he's gone! He and MC have been getting in some quality bonding time this week...
He's let her sit on the arm rest of his chair, and now, she crawls up there when he's not sitting in it, and just sits on the arm rest. I can see her falling off in the very near future.
G wore these reindeer antlers to preschool at least three times last week. I kid you not. I'm honestly, too tired to argue over her hair, so if she wants to wear antlers or a crown, so be it. As long as it keeps her hair out of her face. She also got her first "fat lip" last week. Apparently, she ran smack dab into another little girl.
I actually took last Wednesday off work, and I think that's the day this ^ happened. I have been so exhausted, and I needed to get some orders packaged, so I spent the day at home sleeping and doing laundry, as well as packaging orders. It was the best day ever. I totally needed that sick day to get me through the rest of the week.
Friday, DJ had recruiting, so he wasn't home until after the girls went to bed. We had a totally lazy evening, which was the preface for our totally lazy weekend.
I did get the house semi-clean on Saturday morning, and then I started a laundry fest, but I took a 2 1/2 hour nap on Saturday afternoon when DJ came home.
I managed to shower on Sunday, and make it to the grocery store and Target, and I finished up buying my last two Christmas presents, and then we layed around some more on Sunday afternoon. G came and cuddled with me on the couch and played a few games on my phone. She also took this picture:
G didn't even get out of those pj's until Sunday night. She wore them the entire weekend. That is how lazy we are.
Here's MC on Sunday morning. She brought her breakfast plate over to me on the sofa. We tend to let her snack in the living room quite often. I love when I go to take her photo, because she stops what she's doing, looks up, and says, "cheese"! It is just the cutest thing ever.
So, that's been about our week and weekend.... I am in week 9 of this pregnancy and I am counting down to week number 12 and the 2nd trimester. I have got to get over this tired feeling that I have, because it is completely wearing me down! I lack all motivation that I should have right now. I keep telling myself, this too shall pass" and in January, we should be back to normal- whatever that is.
