Last week, MC was sick with a tummy bug. DJ and I split up our days in order to stay home with our poor sick baby. I felt awful having to wake her up from her nap in order to pick up G from preschool.
But that night, both girls were cuddle bugs!
The girls are really starting to interact with each other more. MC loves to play upstairs when G is up there, and I often find her sneaking up the stairs! MC follows G around, and G has started trying to convince MC to get into trouble! They were both playing under their bathroom sink, and I heard G say, "Shh, Meggie, be quiet- we don't want mom to hear us!" It was so cute I didn't want to stop them! (But, I did.)
Thursday evening TU played UTEP, and I got a babysitter for the girls. The game started at 7, which was right at bedtime, plus it was a school night. I just didn't feel comfortable taking them to the game.
DJ had a few extra video passes, and I was able to go in the press box and watch the game from the rooftop; which is where DJ hangs out to work on game film. It turned out to be a lovely evening, and I had fun hanging out with my hubby during one of our own home games!
The view was amazing- from the other side, you could see downtown Tulsa.
I was also thankful that TU pulled out another W, and we have a record of 6-1!!!
