TU played at home this weekend, so the girls and I were able to go to the game. We spent Saturday cleaning house, taking naps, and getting pumped for football!
This week, I dressed the girls in their cheerleading outfits. G's outfit still fits from last year, and MC's was a hand me down, from a coach's wife that left here.
We actually got to the game early enough for the girls to see DJ and to snap a quick family picture.
DJ let one of his students have the night off, so DJ had to shoot footage for the hi-light video as well as break down and edit film after the game.
I caught MC cheering several times!
And, right after our 2nd touchdown of the game. Our first touchdown was entirely too fast for me to get a picture of.
And, DJ again shooting footage after the touchdown.
I don't even bother taking the girls into the stands. I think G would be okay if I brought things to keep her occupied, but MC would just want to climb all over the place. We typically stay inside the offices so the girls can run in the hallways or play with toys or we stand right outside the offices for the girls to have a little room to play.
Once again, we have several small children on staff this year, and they all enjoyed playing together at the game.
G and L were the oldest kids, and they had lots of fun climbing this wall and jumping off!
MC would throw her sippy cup down, point, and grunt because she wanted me to come and pick it up for her!
We ended up staying for the entire game, although we could've left at half time. TU won by about 60 points, so the game was a total wash, but thankfully gave our Offense lots of practice time on the field! I can't wait for next week and our 3rd home game and first conference game against UAB.
