We left T-town on Monday, the 2nd, a day earlier than planned. I worked my rear off that day, so I wouldn't have to work Tuesday, as we had originally planned. DJ spent the day packing and getting ready and watching the girls, and we didn't get to leave until around 5:30 that evening, but we made it to the lake, only having to make 1 stop on the way!
Thankfully, the girls slept late Tuesday morning, and we were able to enjoy the day playing, visiting with pops, Grandma Dee, Aunt Gina, and her two kids, and swimming in the lake!
MC had two fourth of July outfits, so she wore one of them on the 3rd.
The girls had fun swimming in the lake, and G was such a little fish!
MC really enjoyed the boat, but she hated wearing her life jacket, thankfully, Pops lives on such a small lake that we were able to get by without it.
After naps, we went out to swim when Pops and Grandma Dee got home from work, they bought MC this cute little boat that had a cover on it. She loved getting to float in it!
I'm still working on getting my photo uploading kinks worked out, so as long as I can use the method I used tonight, I'll post more of our lake trip and my 30th birthday cruise, so stay tuned!
